Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa (Location: Onna-son, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa) is pleased to offer "Seragaki Sun-Kissed Retreat," a seasonal treatment designed to gently soothe sun-exposed skin, available for a limited time from Saturday, August 1 to Friday, October 30, 2026, at "Spa Hanari."
Summers in Okinawa offer the ultimate resort experience filled with outdoor activities amidst nature, from marine sports in crystal-clear waters to relaxing moments by the pool or watching the sunset. "Seragaki Sun-Kissed Retreat" was developed to care for skin exposed to strong sunlight on the same day, allowing you to comfortably enjoy the lingering memories of summer.
The Blessings of Okinawan Shikuwasa Grown by Nature
For this special occasion, we selected Okinawan-grown Shikuwasa cultivated under the bright sun and rich nature of Okinawa as the main ingredient, independently developing the original blend oil "SOU." Shikuwasa is a citrus fruit that has grown wild mainly in northern Okinawa since ancient times, and its name is said to derive from the Okinawan dialect meaning "to feed (kuwasa) acid (shi)." Its refreshing citrus aroma has long been cherished locally as a way to refresh the mind and inspire a bright, positive mood. We created this treatment with the desire to offer guests—visiting from all over the world—an experience where body and mind are energized and fulfilled through the unique botanical charm of Okinawa.
A Blissful 90-Minute Journey Satisfying All Five Senses

Prior to the treatment, guests are served Spa Hanari's original "Kuzu-yu with Yoshino Arrowroot (Pitaya & Shikuwasa)." Through a consultation with your therapist, a customized treatment tailored to your skin condition that day will be proposed.
The treatment begins with a body massage using the original blend oil containing Okinawan Shikuwasa. Enveloped in a refreshing citrus scent, your décolletage, arms, legs, and back are carefully treated by the therapist's skilled hands.
Following the body massage, an aloe vera gel pack is applied to the entire body, alongside a facial mask to gently soothe and hydrate sun-exposed skin. It is a comfortable 90-minute relaxation experience wrapped in soothing aromas and the freshness of aloe vera.
Luxurious After-Treatment Time Immersed in Summer's Linger
After the treatment, enjoy an herbal tea blended with about 40 kinds of medicinal herbs native to Okinawa, such as Job's tears, turmeric, and guava. Spend a luxurious time immersed in the lingering warmth of summer while gazing out at the calm Seragaki sea. Enjoy a quiet moment nurturing your mind and body at the end of a day filled with marine activities or night pool relaxation.
Wellness Experience at "Spa Hanari" Overlooking the East China Sea

"Spa Hanari" values the harmony of mind, body, and emotions, offering wellness experiences close to Okinawa's natural beauty. In ocean-view treatment rooms overlooking the East China Sea, you can spend a peaceful moment releasing yourself from everyday life while enveloped in comfort that feels at one with nature on Seragaki Island.
